Accuracy Guarantee

Accuracy Guarantee

Effective Date: March 20, 2026

The TurnkeyWells Accuracy Guarantee

We stand behind our core data. If we get it wrong, we’ll make it right – with a full refund plus $500.

What Qualifies

The Accuracy Guarantee covers exactly two types of errors, measured as of the date your report was generated:

1. GCD Membership Error

Our report states a property is or is not within a Groundwater Conservation District, and that statement was factually incorrect based on the official GCD boundaries in effect on the report generation date.

Important: Our GCD boundary data is sourced from 2019 TWDB files. If a GCD was created or its boundaries changed after 2019, and our report correctly reflects the 2019 data, that is not an error under this guarantee. The guarantee covers errors in our data processing – not staleness of the underlying source data, which is disclosed in our Terms of Service and on every report.

2. Registered Well Existence Error

Our report states that a specific registered well does or does not exist at or near a location, and the TWDB Submitted Drillers Report (SDR) database contradicts that statement as of the report generation date.

What Does NOT Qualify

The following are explicitly excluded from the Accuracy Guarantee:

  • Depth estimates or ranges – Statistical projections, not factual assertions
  • Cost estimates – Projections based on area averages
  • Driller ratings or rankings – Derived metrics, not source data
  • Aquifer identification – County-level approximations
  • Injurious water interpretation – Proximity flags, not water quality data
  • Pre-2001 well omissions – Wells not in TWDB database – can’t report what doesn’t exist in the source
  • Address geocoding errors – US Census Bureau geocoder limitations – disclosed in Terms
  • Data changes after report date – We guarantee data as of generation date only
  • Source database omissions – If TWDB/TCEQ data is incomplete, that’s a source limitation, not our error
  • Subjective interpretations – How you read or apply report data
  • GCD changes after 2019 – Our 2019 data vintage is disclosed; reflecting 2019 data accurately is not an error

How to File a Claim

Step 1: Email support@turnkeywells.com with the subject line: “Accuracy Guarantee Claim – [Order #]”

Step 2: Include the following:

  • Documentation from an official Texas state source (TWDB, the relevant GCD, or TCEQ) showing the correct information as of the date your report was generated
  • Screenshots or official correspondence are preferred; verbal statements from third parties do not qualify

Step 3: We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.

Investigation and Resolution

  • TurnkeyWells will investigate your claim within 14 business days of receiving complete documentation.
  • We will compare the data in your report against the applicable source database as it existed on the date your report was generated.
  • We may contact you for additional information during the investigation.
  • Our determination regarding whether the claim qualifies under this guarantee is final and binding.

If Your Claim Is Approved

You will receive:

  • Full refund of the purchase price of the affected report
  • $500 goodwill accuracy credit, paid to your original payment method or by check at our discretion

Payment will be processed within 10 business days of claim approval.

Limitations and Caps

  • One claim per report. If a report contains multiple errors, they are treated as a single claim.
  • $500 maximum total guarantee payments per customer, across all reports, across all time. If you have previously received $500 in accuracy guarantee payments, you remain eligible for refunds only.
  • 90-day filing window. Claims must be submitted within 90 days of report purchase. Claims filed after 90 days will not be considered.
  • Bad faith exclusion. Claims submitted without supporting documentation, with fabricated documentation, or as part of a pattern of abuse will be denied. TurnkeyWells reserves the right to ban users who file bad-faith claims.

What This Guarantee Is (and Isn’t)

This Accuracy Guarantee is a voluntary goodwill program. It is:

  • An additional remedy we offer because we believe in our data
  • Limited to the specific error types and caps described above
  • Subject to the Terms of Service, including the Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution provisions

It is not:

  • A warranty of accuracy for all report data
  • An admission of a duty of care beyond what is required by law
  • A waiver of any limitations in the Terms of Service
  • A substitute for your responsibility to independently verify information before relying on it
