About TurnkeyWells

Texas water well intelligence — built for property owners, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals.

Who We Are

TurnkeyWells is a Texas water well data platform built for property owners, home buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals who need accurate, fast answers about groundwater on a property.

We built TurnkeyWells because the data exists — it just is not easy to find. The Texas Water Development Board, TCEQ, TDLR, and county appraisal districts hold hundreds of thousands of well records. But pulling that data together for a single property address took hours of manual research. We automated it.

What We Do

Our platform searches over 1,000,000 registered well records, 241,000 plugging reports, and 101 Groundwater Conservation Districts to answer the questions that matter most before a property transaction or a drilling project:

  • Does this property have a registered water well?
  • Is the well active or plugged?
  • Which Groundwater Conservation District governs this property?
  • How deep do wells typically go in this area?
  • Who are the most active licensed drillers nearby?
  • What does the TREC Form 61-0 water well disclosure require for this address?

Why It Matters Now

Texas real estate law is changing. Starting May 4, 2026, TREC Form 61-0 requires sellers of properties with water wells to disclose detailed information about those wells — including the Groundwater Conservation District, permit numbers, active and plugged well counts, and more. Most sellers, agents, and title companies don’t have this data at their fingertips. We do.

Who We Built This For

  • Property buyers who want to know what they’re getting before closing
  • Sellers who need to complete TREC Form 61-0 accurately
  • Real estate agents handling transactions involving properties with wells
  • Title companies integrating well disclosure into closing workflows
  • Landowners planning to drill and wanting pre-drill intelligence before hiring a contractor
